Praying Mantis

Where I live bugs really dont get that large.  On occasion I might find a large spider or in this case a Praying Mantis.  I have a light box that I use to do my photography of my forged items, and used this to get some interesting shots of her.  So aside from my fascination with life, big and small, here is a small glimpse of an interest I found crawling on the post in my backyard.  I also got these pictures to study how the Praying Mantis moves and literally joined together.  I take into consideration if that I may want to attempt some part of this bug in metal and simply the design of her is appealing and alien.
